1. What mattress size is compatible with the Parsec Bunk Bed?

The Parsec Bunk Bed is designed to fit standard single mattresses on both the top and bottom bunks. For best performance and safety, use mattresses that match standard UK single dimensions and do not exceed the recommended thickness for bunk beds.

2. What is the recommended mattress thickness for the top bunk?

For safety reasons, the top bunk mattress should typically not exceed 15–16 cm in thickness (or as per your retailer’s guidance). This ensures the guard rail remains effective and provides proper protection.

3. What is the weight capacity of the bunk bed?

The Parsec Bunk Bed is built with a sturdy frame suitable for children and growing teens. While exact limits may vary by retailer guidance, the bed is designed to comfortably support typical single-sleeper weights on each bunk. Always follow the manufacturer’s specified weight recommendations.

4. Is the bunk bed safe for young children?

Yes, the bed includes several child-friendly safety features such as:

• Angled ladder for easier climbing
• Glow-in-the-dark steps
• Secure upper bunk design

Important: The top bunk is generally recommended for children aged 6 years and above for safety reasons.

5. Does the Parsec Bunk Bed require assembly?

Yes, self-assembly is required. The bed is delivered in 4 cartons with assembly instructions included. Most customers can assemble it using standard household tools.

For best results:

• Allow adequate time
• Assemble with two adults
• Follow instructions carefully

6. What materials is the Parsec Bunk Bed made from?

The bed features a strong engineered wood construction with a durable painted finish. This provides an excellent balance of strength, stability, and smooth visual appeal suitable for children’s furniture.

7. Are the glow-in-the-dark ladder steps safe?

Yes. The glow effect is designed purely for visibility in low light and does not produce heat or require electricity. It simply helps children see the ladder more clearly at night, improving safety during climbing.

8. What colour options are available?

The Parsec Bunk Bed is available in two versatile finishes:

• White – clean and timeless
• Taupe – warm and contemporary

Both colours are designed to coordinate easily with modern children’s bedroom furniture.

9. How is the bunk bed delivered?

The bed is delivered flat-packed in 4 cartons for easier handling and transport. Delivery methods may vary depending on the retailer, but most services provide doorstep delivery.
